Get rid of “This Program Might Not Have Installed Correctly” nags

Another of the nags in windows 7, is that constant message popping up after the installation of any new software, happily saying “This Program Might Not Have Installed Correctly” right after you have successfully installed it.

Not only is this plain annoying , it is bound to create confusions for the novice users , who would obviously take its recommendation seriously and re install the software again resulting in frustration and plain waste of time.

Also there is issue that it is bound to pop up after running any portable application, which obviously don’t need to be installed.

To stop the message from occurring , go to run ( win key + R), and type services.msc. This will open the windows services configuration. Next search for the service “Program Compatibility Assistant Service” and then doublr click on it. Then set the startup to disabled.
